Hey!
Nice to meet ya! I'm Flor, a graphic designer and illustrator
My Work
or at least a summary of it. During all these years of trying different branches of design, I did a loooot of things, motion design, social media graphics, web pages, illustrations, print designs, I've worked with some big companies, but I've also helped out people who were just starting their own projects. Every time I work with someone new, I learn something new, and I always try to make sure that each project has a little bit of my own style in it.
My reel
They wanted a fresh look for their webpage, and I was all in. I dove headfirst into Cloudiway's visual identity overhaul, reimagining every element to embody their essence. From illustrations to fonts to imagery, I left no stone unturned, giving them a truly revitalized online presence.
At the heart of the project was rethinking their color scheme and crafting sleek isometric illustrations to showcase their services. With a focus on web migration, these illustrations became the cornerstone of their revamped webpage—clean, interference-free, and captivating. And the best part? Teaming up with a fellow web developer, we brought our vision to life, ensuring every detail was just right. Seeing our hard work take shape on the webpage was pure magic.

Alright, buckle up for the Xander, the Panther ride! Teaming up with the awesome Grace Buka, we dove into a world without glasses and boy, did we make it pop! My mission? To bring Xander to life through colorful and energetic illustrations. With a mix of research, museum visits, and tons of enthusiasm, we crafted scenes that leaped off the page, inviting readers into a technicolor frenzy of adventure and wonder. And guess what? Our project even archived a featured moment on Behance for its sheer creativity and impact

My Career

Freelancing isn’t just a way to work—it has transformed the way I perceive everything. Yes, it’s great to have the flexibility to start your week later, like taking Mondays off if needed. But this also means that sometimes Sundays must be sacrificed to meet deadlines. The freedom to work from anywhere has taught me the importance of anticipation and planning. I’ve learned to schedule when I’ll need a strong internet connection, when I can work offline, and how to make the most of my time—even if the "perfect" time doesn’t exist, I create it.
Freelancing has also significantly enhanced my communication skills. Working with people from around the world means that effective communication is not just a benefit, it’s a necessity. Each project flows differently—sometimes it’s asynchronous collaboration, other times it’s meetings or even just a well-timed message. This dynamic has allowed me to adapt and tailor my communication style to fit the needs of each situation.
I’ve had the privilege of collaborating with both startups and established companies, with highlights including:
Darknet Diaries: Produced engaging videos that garnered over 40k views, and developed a cohesive visual style that contributed to an increase of +50k followers for the brand.
Podtechs: Worked as a motion designer and video editor, creating videos for multiple clients. Each project demanded adaptability as I shifted between styles and needs, all while collaborating with the team to deliver high-quality videos that showcased the heart of each podcast’s story.
Xander the Panther: Translated Grace’s vision into vibrant, colorful illustrations that brought Xander’s story to life. The result was a visually stunning children’s book that delighted readers with its lively, engaging style.
Cloudiway: Contributed to a full website redesign, ensuring the user experience aligned seamlessly with the brand's goals.
Freelancing continues to shape my skills and outlook in ways I couldn’t have imagined, and I’m grateful for every opportunity it’s brought my way.

In this role, I wasn’t just focused on design—I also took on the responsibility of being the print file guide. My main job? Ensuring that the files sent to the printer were exactly what the clients envisioned. Think of me as the bridge between the client’s design ideas and the printing process, turning their vision into print-ready perfection. Whether it was interpreting specific requests or coming up with quick solutions under tight deadlines, I thrived on finding ways to keep both the design process and the prepress workflow smooth, ensuring everyone stayed happy

In this role, I had the privilege of being the go-to person for print design projects. My main goal? Making sure clients got exactly what they envisioned. From capturing their ideas to delivering designs that were not only visually appealing but also aligned with their brand guidelines, I worked hard to bring their vision to life. It wasn’t always a smooth ride, but I embraced each challenge as an opportunity to learn and grow. And managing multiple projects while keeping clients happy? That took teamwork, and I’m grateful to have been part of such a collaborative effort.

Over the years, alongside my design work, I’ve taken on various roles in the hospitality industry, where I’ve honed invaluable skills such as communication, teamwork, leadership, and resilience.
In one role, I thrived in the dynamic environment of a bustling sports bar, managing nights with over 300 guests. Whether it was collaborating with my team to host events or ensuring everything ran smoothly during the busiest shifts, I embraced each challenge as a chance to grow and lead.
In another setting, I focused on crafting cocktails that enhanced the guest experience. This role was all about creativity and collaboration, working closely with various teams to ensure everything met the highest standards.
These roles have been about more than just hospitality—they’ve taught me the importance of connecting with people, anticipating needs, and staying composed under pressure. Every shift brought new challenges and opportunities, and I’m grateful for how these experiences have shaped both my professional and personal growth.
